Are these the coil covers you are thinking about? Less than $10.00 for all 6!

I'll order the boots today and the spark plugs. With only the intake and exhaust I have now. Do you recommend the .030 gapping? I plan to tune my truck in the next coming months but want to be able to return everything to stock eventually when I go to sell the truck.

.030 is fine for stock or tuned truck. I've got mine at .030 and have been tuned for quite awhile. No problems.

Do the motor craft sp534's come gapped at .030 or will I have to adjust them? How do I adjust them, do I need a special tool?

When I replaced mine they were all at about .032

Some VERY light tapping on a solid surface will knock that gap down very slightly and with a good spark plug gap tool, you can verify it. The little coin looking one will not be good enough. Metal is too cheap and it won't be as accurate as some others can be.

JMHO here............but with you asking what tool to use to gap a plug, how to do it and where to get it...........Please let your Ford dealer do this for you. Changing the plugs on the EB is a LOT more than just pulling off a wire and untwisting the plug.
Do you know what to torque the new plugs at? You could save a lot of money by buying the plugs from Rock Auto rather than your dealer though.

I learn from asking questions. Just as anyone else would. I doubt you were born with this knowledge. I need to get the truck serviced so I may go ahead and have them swap out the plugs anyways.

Thanks for taking MHO for what it was worth.....you likely will also be amazed at how much your dealer wants in labor charges for a plug change.
The first dealer I took mine to wanted $240, the second one did it for $114..... so, I guess I am saying....ask first!
