Default Ecoboost-Screw missing

I've been reading alot of the fluttering rpm because my truck started doing it a week after I got it. So today I decided to register.

I have 1K miles on it already and its still doing that . My screen shows that its averaging about 18mpg but most miles are from Highway. When i first got it i was getting an average of 20mpg since the fluttering started happening my mpg got lower.

Well today I decided to check all vacuum lines to make sure none are loose and creating a boost leak. When I took of my engine cover off I quickly noticed there is a screw missing on a sensor that is connected to the Intake Manifold. The sensor is movable but not by much. I'm not sure if its sealing correctly ( I'm pretty sure it leaks under boost. I decided not to buy a screw to tighten it that way the dealership can mess with it(and maybe look around for anything else).

So my point is make sure you guys aren't missing a screw on that sensor. My truck was built 5/11 @ Dearborn

I'll see if i can post a pic up later.

Subscribed. A pic would be awesome.

I haven't ventured too deeply into this engine yet-- is it pretty easy to pull the cover off?

Checked mine and it looks like mine is missing a screw too. I could barely move it though unless I really pushed on it so I'm not totally sure that it's loose enough to create a big enough leak to lose boost. Also hard to tell what the sensor actually does. Nevertheless, I'll be showing it to the dealership next time I'm in there.

Tried to take a picture but I reached for my phone I realized I left it up in the apartment Sorry guys. The sensor is right smack on top-middle of the manifold, closer to the rear of the engine.

ninjatalon-- tell us if you have any more developments in the story.

I'll be posting a pic in a few mins. My phone is uploading it. I'm taking it to the dealership in several hours. I didn't want to buy a screw because I don't how many ft/lbs or inch/lbs of torque is needed.

I'll let you guys if it made any difference after taking it to service.
