I love hearing the whistling of the turbos out the tail pipe on take off... I would like to hear more of that sound but don't want it to sound like a tuner car. If I just remove the resonator and leave the stock muffler, will I be able to achieve this. Has anyone tried this?

Many have done it. I hated the loudness in the cab after I deleted it. Good luck.

That's what I did, I also installed a little longer than stock Magnaflow muffler for the same reason, didn't want it to sound like a ricer. Here's a short video sound clip:

What did you do for the 3 inch piece from the muffler to the flange?
Is it a piece that already had the flange on it, or did you have to build it?
I am very interested in Doing this also but don't know how to connect to the flange and get rid of the 2.5 pipe

I used an OEM Ford part, but unfortunately it was a 2.5" pipe. But easy install

I used a straight section of 3" tubing & welded the original flange to it. Connected it directly to the Magnaflow.

Oh, gotcha

Didn't know the flange could just be welded,
I'll have to look at it today
Thank you
