Try 22 LBS that worked for me.

If you have a decent compressor (not one of those super cheapo cigarette lighter ones) that does not take forever to fill a tire, you might consider "airing up" the front ones as well to the maximum pressure. Less rolling resistance......you'd be surprised every little bit helps. I bought this one from Harbor Freight it's a step up from the cheapos and works fairly quickly.

If you are at like 14.01 and trying to break into the 13's you could pull the air filter for a couple of runs, takes a a minute and might get you that 10th you are looking for.

Try not to show up with more than a 1/4 tank of gas, you don't need the extra weight.

Oh.....and fold your mirrors in!

Yea......I had a lil over 3/4 of a tank in it, coulda done without all the extra fuel! Should have pulled the mirrors in too, forgot about that one! Pretty sure I can get her in the 13s now with a lil more seat time. Wonder where I should start at for tire pressure in the rears....any ideas???

Don't know why my Harbor Freight link doesn't work....do they actually block links here?

Here is what it looks like.

I've been to the track only once back in the fall. I made 3 passes. I started a 25 lbs. in the rear and had a little tire spin. I lowered it to around 22 and hooked without any spin. I have a 2011 and the E-locker only works in 4wd so this was with an open rear. I didn't air up the fronts, remove the air filter, or fold the mirrors...I will next time.

You want to try to get the very best out of the truck while your there so you might as well pull out all the stops, especially if you are just doing it once in a while.....IMO.

Honestly with the SCT 93 tune I'm running.....I'm not real confident that it will hook next time. With the 012's and forward the 2wd E-locker may be the ticket with the tires aired down and if the track is prepped decent.

Yea....gonna be a lil more prepared next time. Clean the truck out, less fuel in the tank, mirrors etc... I want that 13 second timeslip! Thanks for the help Mark.

I know for sure the one guy said his best was a 13.60.I figure if the EcoBoost was in the lighter by 1,000 to 1,500 lb Camaro it would probably be faster then the LS Engine that is in them.

Later Mark.
