Yup the 4hi won't disengage even though the light turns off. i could tell the 4hi was still engaged when i was slowing down and changing lanes down the track

Wait so if it doesn't disengage then what's the point of fumbling around trying to switch it back to 2hi?

Dunno, I stopped once i found out. I switch it off after the 1/4

Hey ninja did you ever get a chance to run your SCT and you innovative back to back at the track? I remember you saying something about the shifting being a little slow on the innovative? Which one feels quicker to you?

I haven't gone back. I tried SCT 93 tune for about a week. I can say that both tunes feel about the same, other than the shifting. Can't really go based on the butt dyno. I guess we'll see when I head back to the track.

It's the electric locking differential....It's activated by pulling the 2, 4H, and 4L button out. Not all truck have this option, I believe it is standard in the FX4s though....

WTF I didn't know I had this option.... It's funny because I think there is a little arrow that poi ya out or maybe it was my other truck, now I have to go look..

So do u use this when ur at the track? At the starting line?

Last Friday I ran my truck in 2WD using the locker. I locked it in, did a short burnout, then staged the truck. I was only able to launch the truck at 1,800 rpm's, anything more and the truck starts blowin the tires off while still in the beams waiting for the tree to come down! Next time I go, i'm gonna air the rear tires down and see if I can get the truck to hold a higher launch and not blow the tire off thru the 60ft. I know there is a difference between how the locker functions between the 2011 and the 2012, may wanna look into that before you go out to the track!
