sct is supposed to release final tuner firmware by the end of this month for the eco can buss system. there is a guy with on ethat posted in the 2009+ section under a title called eco-injection (innovative diesel) that is SCT based. from the "sound" of it, they're merely tossing boost and fuel at the motor like superC and bully and edge

I Had the Edge SCT and returned Due to too many problems. I have the Livernois coming tomorrow with the 93 Tune. Guy at Livernois said it Pulls stock file from ECM. I have an appt. tomorrow at dealership to reflash ECM to correct my problem($99). If the Livernopis does indeed come with the correct stock file, I will cancel my appt. and save $99. So which is it?

They modified the proper updated stock file. Your stock file is downloaded to the aiw, but untouched so you can revert back to stock. I had mine updated before I installed the 93 tune.

At your order you gave your strategy code. This is what they use to create your basefile with the latest update. Other programmers use a very old strategy code...

Another vote of confidence for Livernois. I was one of the first to get the SC Flashpaq. Fortunately for me I did not experience the problems that people are having with the SC tuner. For me, it was the elevated and excessive turbo noise. The more I heard it, the more uncomfortable and annoyed I became. I have nothing but great things to say about the Livernois tune.

I had the edge for two weeks. Ended up taking it off and returning it.
Now it may be coincidence, or not, but since it's been off my check engine light has come on twice and also my remote start has somehow been deactivated.
Dealer has ordered a new ECM to install after reprogramming remote start twice and replacing IAT sensor. And this might be a bad sign but ECM's for our trucks are currently on back order.

Well I broke down and ordered a 93 tuned Livernois programmer. Imo its a necessity for when I come up next to an import that is trying to impress his girl.

Well it sounds like Livernois did there homework and there tunes rock.. Too bad the tuner itself is so limited, In todays world, there is no reason you can't have a tuner with multiple tunes installed. Nice thing about the SCT tuner is you can have multiple tunes from different tuners if you choose to... I'd be all over Livernois tuner if it could hold more than 1 tune..... Having to download a different tune from the internet everytime you want to go from a tow tune to a performance tune is no better then changing a chip in the ECU (what we had to do in the late 80's) I still might buy Livernois tuner, but it seems old school to me.....

The reason they said is because the size of the ecoboost tunes are enormous.
