Default EcoBoost Programmer Opinions

Ok I have read just about everything on any forum I can find about which programmer seems to be working the best for people with the Ecoboosts. In a nutshell this is what I've found.

For me it really comes down to these two programmers. I am ready to get one, but I just don't think I understand my options the best at this point.

Let me know if I'm correct with my research and if I am missing anything.

Superchips (300$)-- Knocking & pinging, 55mph shutters, and no ability to load YOUR factory flash back on to the ecu.

Livernois (600$) -- I have not read one bad thing about these other than you only have two options to switch between but can change those two options via the web flashloader?

I have a headache from reading so much, and I feel like I am back to square one.

No brainer. Spend extra money for someone who does it right! Livernois! Not one bad review based on its performance. Superchumps is a nightmare waiting to happen.

Anyone tried/had both the Bully Dog, and Livernios tuners? The Bully dog has way more options that make it nice, the option to view via the access port would be nice...
OP, thanks for starting the thread..

For the EcoBoost, I would def go with Livernois. More money yes, but quality tune and the SUperchips been having some issues with their units.

Bully-Edge-Superchumps=current issues and problems waiting to happen.
Livernois=lighter wallet, happier face

I have the super chips but wouldn't recommend it. It definately gives the truck more power even with the economy tune, but there are just to many little glitches at this time to give it a thumbs up. I feel that they will eventually get it together but who knows when?

Plus 1 on the livernois tune. Over 5000 miles on the 93 octane tune, and zero problems.

+1 for LMS. I used the 91 octane for 1200 km without any problem. The most important is that the stock map included is up to date.
