Default Ecoboost Plug change

So I am mostly a reader not a poster on this forum. I decided to check my plugs on my 2012 Ecoboost. I have almost 12k miles on it and have been having a rough idle. I decided to pull the plugs and check the gaps. All plugs were gapped at .35, but they were covered in black soot. Since I had a new set on hand I installed them and gapped them to .30. Truck idles and so far runs smoother.

Changing plugs on the 3.5l is a cake walk compared to doing it on a 5.4l with a supercharger on it.
