Comments so far:
Truck has 420 miles on it total.

It really sucks the gas when the engine hasn't warmed up. Going 70 drops mileage by 15% vs 60.
On ramps ,getting up to speed, and going up hills really make the mpg drop.
A 15-20 mph wind pushing me gives me an increase in mpg by 2.5 to 3. Driving against the wind has the opposite effect.

I am still waiting to see that official Ford bulletin that says that it will get better mpg at 3000 miles.
i dont know of any bulletin out there as previously suggested , but i have ~3900 miles on my ecoboost and with this tank im averaging 17.5mpg right now with 85% highway /15% city use. which is up JUST slightly from previous tanks .. we'll see what it is at the end of this tank when i fill up

ps. the highway travels are consistently hilly

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in the manual not to bother checking mileage until 2 to 3 thousand.

Yeah my best I've seen on mine is 15.1... like today I was doin 63 and the instant MPG thing was just at 15, only time i really see it go up any higher is when i let off the gas or i'm doin like 40mph with cruise control on and i get between 20-30.... still better then my Tundra, just hoping it keeps going up with miles... just went over 1k and have the 3.55 gears

Just finished a 1000 mile trip over the past 3 days and I averaged 18.8 mpg. Total miles on the truck is 2009. 4x4 Platinum 3:55 EB.

Is that a mix of driving or steady on freeway mostly? What avg speeds?

I really hope that some of the mpg figures I'm reading here will improve, as I see an EB 150 somewhere in my future....say 3 years or so.

My current 2010 Screw 4.6-3V, 2WD w 3:55's is doing better than some of what I'm reading here. Maybe I got a fluke, but hand calculated last tank was 19.1 mpg. Computer said 19.3. That's in mixed driving, but not too much stop and go.

Best mpg on hiway only driving is 20.9 @ 10,300 miles.

I've filled up five times (this last one was today after a trip to the drag strip to see if the 14.9 1/4 mile times are legit...they are) and I've gone up from 14.7 mpg mixed to 16.5 mixed mpg.

I have the EcoBoost screw 3.55 gears and I'm getting 17 mixed and just turned over 2,000 miles. I was on a 100 trip with cruise set around 67 and got 20.8 at only 1,000 miles on my truck. I could probably have gotten 23 or 24 if I set the cruise a little lower. The EB can get great milage if it's driven easy. Plus it runs like a singer sewing machine!

I'm curious to know the times you ran in the 1/4 mile? What axle ratio do you have?

XLT Supercab/265-70-17/3.73 4x4 Offroad e-locker, 621 miles. The mileage computer is very accurate on this truck. I compared hand-calc 3 times and was rather surprised! Hwy steady 65 i get 21 mpg at 72 it drops to 19. In town sucks down to 13.4 due fat-foot, granny-foot and i will get 15. FWIW drove on beach in soft dry sand in 4L with e-locker at 10mph computer said 5.9mpg.
Forgot to mention I have an Extang Solid Fold Tonneau
