Thank you mtxpert.
The thing is that I didn't make any changes to my truck. It would be the same tune with only tweaks that he made to the new updated and improved versions of his tunes which all of you have received. Perhaps I would have brushed it off if it were any other tuner but I got the dude ALL of the business he has recieved from this forum so I justify it in my mind that I have given him more than $200. Thats wrong, I know. I just felt no appreciation at all.
Also, if he treats me in a way that I see unfit, then I feel that it is possible he treats others the same way. Maybe I am weird but I would feel very guilty if people were buying tunes based on my recommendation and then feel that their money has been wasted.
That is why I prefaced my post stating that I am glad I am the only one that has had a negative experience.

Bottom line is your expectations were not met. Whether is was miscommunication or just not knowing each others expectations at the time, but now you know each others expectations. The question now is if there is something Torrie can do to fix the situation, and more importantly if you want him to do something to fix it. If yes, then it might be worth a shot. If no, then it's probably just best to move on.
The one thing I have learned in my years in sales is that it is not a bad thing when a customer comes to you angry that his expectations have not been met. It means that they are giving you another chance to fix things and make it right which should be appreciated. It is when a customer just walks away without a word or giving you another chance is when you probably lost them for good. From these posts, it sounds to me that you are giving Torrie another chance since you haven't just moved on.

I got 5 Star a lot of business from my review thread and word of mouth to my EB and 5.0 friends and I do not expect any special treatment from Mike. I made my reviews to help fellow forum members to make a better informed decision.

You know what, I think what I would ask of Torrie would be to be more thorough in his emails. Perhaps respond within a few hours instead of a few minutes but take the time to keep the customers in the know as to what is going on - especially if they are having issues.
I, personally, want nothing. That boat has sailed - I have faster better tunes but wanted to see if the newer version could change my mind about that. I hope he uses this as an opportunity to improve his communication QUALITY over quantity as there seems to be a consensus that his emails are easily taken the wrong way.
There is a happy medium of speed/thoroughness.
But yes, to your point... I am not posting in other threads or saying things in person to friends. I brought it straight to a thread where Torrie would be fully aware and could also comment/defend/apologize/whatever. Although, I am glad he didn't comment for the most part (this is smart of him). If he would have defended himself it could have potentially only fueled the fire - I think we have all seen this happen on forums before. I am sure this is his strategy as he tends to ignore any negative comments - smart.

My opinion is this thread should be closed. I feel like I'm dealing with my kids. Get over it. Some people just won't be happy. Dragging it out now. I don't have a tune yet but when I do I will probably get it from torrie. For the money paid these tuners put in a lot of time. In my diesel tune days I saw my favorite tuners family ripped apart due to the time and stress spent on catering to people needs. My advice to Torrie is take your time. Don't jump everytime someone sends an email. You do good work. They will wait. Look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Torrie, sorry dude - although I was unsatisfied by the way I percieved I was being treated... I didnt intend to "blast" you. I only wanted to let everyone know that the service turned out to be far from what i experienced in the beginning and wanted to share that with others.
Like Caveman said, please take your time for quality over quantity. I for one would prefer to wait for a thorough response as opposed to a quick one that does not answer my question. Repeatedly. Tuning your truck should be fun and informative; I felt as though it became a job that i hated.
Torrie does put out decent tunes but not the best IMO.
Mod, please close - I think this is a good point to end.
