As more of these suits get filed it will be harder for FORD to ignore or sweep under the rug the issues of the Ecoboost. Seems recalls are the norm these days with EVERY brand vehicle. FORD cant do a recall unless they have a true permanent fix to the issue.

Didn't they test that engine?

I've been thinking of getting an MKS but now I'm not so sure.

They tested pretty heavily from what I've gathered. Thing is they can't replicate every real world experience.
There are many thousands that have never had a loss of power and many more that never even experienced the shudder.

And that's what makes it incredibly unfair for ford to basically ignore some owners.

Whether your truck has re-occurring permanent problems or not you still have to pay the same for it as the person with the problem free vehicle.

These aren't window seals or vents breaking. These are big time problems that turn a vehicle into nothing more than a boat anchor. Whether its not fixable by ford or a permanent fixture in the service department it's of little to no use to a paying consumer.

There are plenty of complaints here, but hardly any on the NHTSA site. Last time I looked about 6 months ago there were fewer than 50 for all years of the F150. NHTSA won't care if F150 owners don't care. Good luck.

I've had the stall / loss of power a few times in mine. Sucks when you're not expecting it lol. Also the Trans shifting / selection of gears blows.
