I think $1290 is a fair price for a unit that nice. I've paid in that neighborhood for larger intercoolers that weren't that well-built.

I don't see how this could possibly solve any supposed-condensation issues. If the theories are correct, it would actually get worse. That said, I knew before opening this thread that it would immediately be side-tracked by the condensation topic.

I, too, would like to see before/after dP and dT numbers before really considering purchasing.

Nice work, GermanEB!

Did you reuse the stock charge piping or did you make your own?

I think the big hole that Ford leaves open looks stupid. The grille you put in looks great!

This is not necessary unless you are outside of the efficiency range for the factory intercooler. its nice piece and will be more beneficial as boost goes up with folks.

I don't have an EB, but I do have a silver platinum, and I want one of those lower bumper inserts. How much?

Lol there's no proof of condensation causing peoples issues yet people still manage to believe it. IC is pretty expensive if its not the whole kit (w pipes). I wouldn't want a bigger intercooler for these small snails.

@ guys already complaining about the price, did you look closely at the end tanks? Those custom cast aluminum pieces CNC machined with complicated geometry are a work of art. I, for one, am impressed. Then again, I've built my own intercoolers so I know how much work it is, while his looks 10x better than anything I ever did. Plus, he went out of his way to make it fit into the stock mounts and hook up to stock piping, making installation a breeze. This isn't a $199 Chinese intercooler off ebay with tie-wraps holding it in place!

Great looking intercooler price is just a little high, I think 800-900 is quite a bit more of a fair price, my hpf, and spearco and ets units were around that price, but great job!!! Is that anonidized black? Can't wait to see results

Nope, all quality intercoolers are $1200+. Like Mike said, between the tanks and angle built in......price is more than fair.
