Does everyones engine block look like this?

I've seen that before, that are not cracks. If you feel them they usually feel raised and are part of the casting. Shouldn't be anything to worry about and is not ecoboost specific.

That looks like your front cover, not the block.

Normal on cast aluminum blocks. My car block and tranny is same way too.

Careful they can be sharp

The result of lost foam casting. They use foam dyes to cast the aluminum into, the foam then melts away leaving it's impression on the cast piece.

My Maxima engine looks like that and like said above those little casting marks are very sharp.
