There is a TSB for that so I don't see why it would be an issue.

On the 2013 +. The 2011 and 2012's the newest TSB has you install one.

I really doubt they will see the hole. We're talking a very small hole to be drilled.

Sure. Im just thinking they might see a streak of goo that would zero them in.

I'm going to drill the hole and remove the blocker plate. I can clean up the goo if it goes in for service. Just have to think of something cleaver if they ask why the blocker plate is missing.....

Just play dumb. It never had one that you know of. And yes just wipe it down. The thing is its a truck and most of the under carriage is dirty anyway.

They would have to prove it caused the issue. I mean if something went wrong with the intercooler they would probably void the warranty. But for anything else if you explained why you did it they wouldn't have a foot to stand on.
