My truck did this same thing over the weekend. Was pulling a small trailer with a few dirtbikes and was accelerating on the on-ramp to get on the hwy. It downshifted 1-2 gears and then shuttered and went in to limp mode, CEL light was flashing. Couldn't accel and when I did try it would just shutter. I pulled over, turned off the truck and restarted and the light went away and the truck ran fine after.

Question No updates?

I bought my '11 SCREW new and although I drive it nearly everyday, I don't have to drive far to work. I've only got 15k miles and today it went into limp mode. I pulled over and restarted it. Went about 1 mile and happened again. Pulled over and RS again drove about 1/2 mile and same thing. This time CEL came on and stayed on. All three times it happened while driving a steady 35'ish mph.

Was hoping someone would post back on here and post what the fixed ended up being? Been nearly two years sine last post - still no fix?
