HHO and the ecoboost
Just wondering if anyone has thought of using an hho generator on their ecoboost. I would imagine this engine being turbocharged and direct injected would work very well with hho. I expirmented with it on my 6.0 psd and had good results.

HHO is a scam. If it worked the way they say, it would violate 1 or 2 laws of Thermodynamics. I will argue this until the thread gets locked. The "inventor" (lead scammer?) was convicted for fraud after 3 expert witnesses verified that his "invention", though it would turn electricity into Hydrogen, would not save fuel or even reduce fuel consumption.
If you want an explanation of why it doesn't work, I'll be happy to walk you through the process.

thank you. (I've been down that road before and unfortunately, it seems that most of the people who believe in this crap simply do not have the capacity to understand even simple thermodynamics.)

I scammed myself? How can that be?
For you guys that are bashing HHO, I'd like to share my experience with it. I have a 2000 4x4 with 5.4L. When I was moving from Florida back to Texas, I had my bed full to the top of the cab. Running the HHO, my first three tanks I got 16.5 MPG. For the remainder of the trip, when my HHO tank started to melt (4" sch 40 pvc) I unplugged the unit. The remainder of the trip, I got 13.5 MPG. You can't tell me it doesn't work.
The trick, I've discovered, is not to mix the electrolyte too strong which most HHO builders tell you to do. I have mine running through an ammeter to monitor it's current draw. If I keep the current draw to 15 amps or less, it helps! Any higher and it produces too much gas and the computer dumps more fuel ot keep the O2 sensor happy. To keep the current draw down, I mix a very diluted solution (potassium hydroxide and distilled water) by dropping about a gram of lye to a gallon of distilled water.
For those out there that are still skeptical, I hope this info helps.
