Would probably help everybody if the version 3.8.1 actually said Ford instead of CAN. Some guys don't know what CAN means.

We have a tech forum that is live 24/7, but I understand you could not get the auto approval. I manually approved you on the 17th as well, although I have no idea why it wouldn't work automatically, there have been no other issues with anyone.

The manual, found here on our Manuals page linked from the top of each page on our website,:

http://aeroforcetech.com/files/Inter...L_rev_3_81.pdf

is clear that platform 4 is what you need, and the platform 4 parameters are all listed on page 25/26 in the Ford Appendix. Someone said that platform 4 isn't on the sheet any more, not sure what you meant, they've always been there. I just checked it and this version, 3.8.1 has been up since last spring.

Bucketman, I sent you an email first chance I got on Monday, never heard back. I don't know what more we or any company can do than what we have for you. You wrote us your questions on Sat. and we responded on Monday. Regarding the forum, obviously something unusual is going on with our server and your email client if you did not get a response email. Did you check your spam folder, blocked by a filter?

Our gauges are made in the USA with the highest quality parts available. We don't glue on a plastic bezel or crimp on a cheap paper thin piece of stamped steel, our bezels are a machined piece of aluminum that you can screw on/off and allows you to customize your gauge with countless different faces and bezel combinations. We added separated high intensity warning lights rather than just change the color of the display when an alarm is triggered, to make the display easier to read in this situation as well as give an overall higher quality appearance. The buttons we use and have used since 2004 virtually never fail, we've had to replace maybe 2-3 out of tens of thousands.

Anyway, we've worked hard since 2004 to build a satisfied customer base and provide timely customer support through a variety of formats. I don't know if you bothered to watch our videos, you certainly didn't give us much (any) time to reply to your email. It's a shame to see a public post such as this before you gave us a chance to work with you on your questions.

Todd,
I find your post a bit disturbing as well! If you spent half as much time researching who wrote this post and then cross referencing the emails, finding out what the issues were and then coming on here and composing a long winded post about it as you do on your website, maybe I and others wouldn't have had issues finding answers to simple questions.

FWIW, I still have an email sent to aeroforce tech on 8/17 that has still not been replied to.

I understand you defending your product and your company, its good to have pride in whats yours. I simply gave my opinion of the gauge and how it feels. I think the buttons are of poor design and it took multiple times to get the bezel to thread back on the gauge, it kept cross threading. As you stated you have a loyal customer base, im just one guy, relax.

Yes, I did watch the videos, I even referenced that I watched them and had a specific question about the SHO video in the emails I sent to you.

I still find the instruction manual page totally confusing. Yeah, I have NO IDEA what a CAN vehicle is. Not everyone that buys this gauge is a tuner or car wizard.

How about:
Ford gas vehicle (cars and trucks) 2000-2014 click here
Ford Diesel trucks 2000-2014 click here

Anyways Todd, im just that one guy that wrote a poor review of your product. Thats how I felt and I dont regret it.

Right, I've noticed that and in future revisions we're going to address this.

V3.8.1 is for all CAN bus gauges, not just Ford. Any gauge that begins with CN is a CAN gauge.

All that really matters is that you look at the sticker on the back of the gauge and note V3.8.1 and find that manual. Whether you understand that it's CAN or not doesn't really matter, you're just looking for that number.

Yeah, I found it that way but knew what CAN meant.

Another fantastic teaser from Aeroforce!

There's a pic, tells nothing of what it is...refers to the forum where there is no thread on it!

Strong work guys, I wish you luck in 2015, you're gonna need it.

I love my interceptor gauge. Easy to install. Stage 3 Motorsports had a great video. Gauge seemed easy to use. I watch my volts & boost. I have the red blinky lights come on when I hit 20psi+.

I did notice that the platform 4 (which was in the instructions to use on the ecoboost) is not in the manual on pages 25/26 anymore. But I've made enough copies of those parameters to look up anyways.

The buttons do seems a bit delecate to use but once you find the sweet spot. They are a breeze.

The plug & play is nice. Overall I would say 8/10.
