Holy site search Batman! The 6.2 guys are going to tell buy a 6.2 and the Eco guys are going to tell you to buy another 3.5. I would do some searching on this site my friend. Zero problems with my engine but YOU WILL be at gas station more often than not and YOU WILL not have problems with the engine. They are about equal in power, one goes SHHHHHHOOM and the 6.2 goes like a Mustang GT. Your choice!

Your truck is a lemon, and your friend blew his engine on his EB? You guys must have some bad luck up there.

I haven't had any issues with my EB and I loved the power it makes tuned. I'd love to try a regular F150 with a 6.2 just to compare. I know this much the 6.2 sounds badass with an exhaust. If you've had issues with your EB maybe you should just give the 6.2 a try.

I have had two EBs without any issues...but if I got a 6.2L I would immediately change the 6.2L badge to 383V8 for the old school look

if the extra money upfront and gas money down the road is no object, i'd go 6.2, just because.

(but i love my EB)

Did ford ever make a 383??

Edit: I see they did but it wasn't for long or very popular.

Stroker Kit a Windsor 351 to a 383...I just think it would be nice to see the "383" "V8"

I like the 6.2 and I'm reminded why every time I turn the key over or mash the gas.
