EcoBoost 3.5 L Engine Oil Fuel Dilution - Problem Solved?
#261
If you scroll thru the data you come to SM/SL.
I don't have a lack of desire for learning and ask questions often. Naturally I asked a Chemist to develop an even greater oil rated for my EB's when he gets around to it. Right now with the Additive packages I can't change my mind. More stringent regulations will change things probably. I see resin products used in Jet engine compressor components ? ; > /
Order your EB with an Rx dual valve system installed by the dealer if you are truly concerned about UR fuel dilution if you find it a problem mostly caused by extended warms ups/short trips to the neighborhood convenience stores or leaking fuel pumps. Long hot runs are the EB friend. Leave off the Platinum edition and just get a Lariat to reduce costs.
I believe only the King Ranch 2015 comes with the 12500 lb tow packages though.

Found this interesting. Tow comparisons are after the 2.7L
Also check out Eric@leadingedgetuning after you get your EB
Catch Can catch after 270 miles running in the rain on interstate at interstate/expressway speeds, temps in the low to mid 50's. When first drained it is an emulsified glop that separates with a few hours into 3 or more substances that will continue to you see 2 distinctly. It is the Glop situation that is troublesome time if allowed to be in the CAC. The concoction in the lower 9/10 of the glass is unburnable. A water based conglomeration of Nasty.
