Not that you want to hear this, but be thankful it's only a crankcase sensor instead of the turbo system. Reluctantly, electronic issues sometimes don't rear their ugly head until they're stress tested. If this is the worst it gets, you'll be very happy.

So the dealer installed the new crank case sensor today and just has I had thought it didn't fix the problem. So they sent another email to Ford today and now we went for tomorrow when we hope Ford takes another shot in the dark and has them order another part hoping that part will fix it. Neither the dealer or Ford knows whats wrong with the truck at this point. Depending on what part Ford decides to fix next it could take a while for that part to come in to see it it works.
I am still talking with the dealership I bought it from but nothing is moving on their part either. I can understand not wanting to swap out trucks or buy it back but really how many times do you think a person has driven off the lot with a brand new truck and in less then two hours its broken and sitting in the shop for an unknown time frame. I have to be the person with the lowest miles on a vehicle that has broken.
I did call the Ford customer care line today and got a case number with Ford. They are going to have a big wig manager call me back in one to two business days. They did ask me what I wanted to happen. I told them I don't want my money back I just want the truck I paid for and since they can't do that then replace it with another truck with the same options. The dealer I bought it from has my trucks twin sitting on the lot right now. Just give me that one and we are good. I don't think I am asking for to much I mean I would believe this is a very special situation.

I would still take the EB over the 5.0 though regardless of all the other posts by the Nswingers.
In the end I really hope they get you taken care of.

This I agree with you should demand a new truck. Two hours is complete BS and the dealer should eat it. I would give them 72 hours to have it fixed 100% or have the keys to a new truck. Or I would get the local news involved and let the dealer know your calling them.

Anyways hope they get you fixed up soon! When these DI engines run right there's nothing better but when they don't there's nothing worse! Been there done that so I feel your pain.
