Default ECO LEMON ROLLS ON how to spend $5,000 in one month

Well I just broke $12,000 in repairs on this crap truck. Just after putting my THIRD timing chain on ($2,500) not even two weeks later the left side turbo needed to be replaced faulty waste gate ($1,800) and then the brake booster goes AGAIN!!! ($650) Nice $5,000 in one month!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Ford for a piece of truck.

Has your timing chain ever came apart on you or has it just been changed due to the rattle / grinding sound?

You are getting taken by the dealer if you are replacing the timing chain because of sound. The sound isn't the chain rattling.

I saw your sig, is there a reason why you wouldn't do the coils and vacuum pump yourself? You can get coils for around $200 and replace them yourself in 10 min, and the vacuum pump was like $300 and took me 30 min fooling around in a 30 degree garage. Seems like you are spending a lot of money on things that could easily be done yourself. I did not do my timing chain that was too much for me.

Do not tell the ecoboost cheering squad this.
They swear its is ultra reliable and the best engine ever made.
You will burst the bubble they live in if they read its has issues.

Sorry though to hear of your problems.

Because nobody has ever had an issue with the 5.0. Except for the ones that use oil, knock, tick, had oblonged cylinders and had shortblocks replaced.

Somewhere along the lines the dealer pinned you for a person they can bleed. Three timing chains is absurd...

How does problems with a 5.0 justify issues with an Eco? Are you saying both engines are bad?
