Honestly, that A-pillar pod looks like those cheap $15 pieces of junk in an early 90s Civic.

Sorry. Hah. I've just never liked those like that. Probably the only nice A-Pillar pods I've seen were made by www.speedofsoundllc.com

I'd love to put a boost gauge in the "coin holder" like some people have done. (2WD only.)

It may not be the best looking but for me it is the most functional. I've never liked looking down or taking my eyes off the road to see the boost gauge. My boost gauge has been on the a-pillar in my GN for 23 years and you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

I'm ok with an A-Pillar gauge. I just don't like the one pictured in the original post. IMO, it would be better if it was blended in a little bit more and not so plain.

Has anyone mentioned (or looked at) a device that uses the OBD port to display engine parameters. Don't know if it will output boost, but I would think it could if the programming was there.

I have ordered a Garmin ecoRoute HD and a compatible bluetooth GPS. Don't know how it will work out, but it seemed like a good idea. I think what parameters are displayed differs by vehicle. Don't know if boost will be displayed when plugged into the EB engine, but it would be a nice solution.

A ScnGauge II would be the ticket for that. They show all kinds of cool parameters.

Thats the ticket. I hope the Garmin gizmo has much of that functionality. A couple of differences... The Garmin uses a bluetooth connection to send the data to the display, and the display looks like it will be round dials instead of digital readouts.

I should have it tomorrow. If anyone is interested, I can post more info as I learn more about it.

I recently got a gps that is compatible with that sender. I'd like to know how it works. Especially when on the map screen.

I found you can search 'ecoRoute' in youTube and view lots of videos on it. Looks like you can view gauges (they say you can choose from up to 15 different ones), or the map, but not both at the same time.
