Default Eco Boost turbo whistle

Love the sound of this motor. Is there anyway to make the turbo whine on acceleration louder? Thanks

A catless downpipe, but you'll need a tune to run one.

What he said. Downpipes will let you hear the turbos a whole lot better.

Not sure on this truck, but my previous turbocharged vehicle got quite a bit louder when I put a new intake filter on it. Basically, getting rid of the big plastic box and just going with a cone filter.

If you do a intake on the EB, you do hear the turbos a little bit more but not significantly like when downpipes added. I did a basic AirAid drop in CAI on my 12 EB and heard a little bit more turbo whistle.

I have the AFE stage 2 intake and all I hear is the air sucking sound and the bov's release. No increase in turbo noise. I have the 4" solo performance exhaust as well with the Mach 46 muffler and at idle can hear the turbos whining if you listen closely. I plan on doing the solo performance carted downpipe in 2015.

I hear my turbos whistle and it's loud... I do not have the resonator or muffler and the pipe is dumped basically under passenger seat. I also did the VTA mod... I still want to make mine louder and do true duals with offroad down pipes but I'm not sure if that will be ok on the turbos
