I believe DynaJet does not measure torque directly but does a HP-RPM calculation. Is it accurate? Someone with more knowledge will have to answer that.

Is it just the ecoboost pcm? People are already tuning the 5.0 trucks with sct.

Hp and torque are directly related. Hp is a mathematical number. Torque x rpm \ 5250 = hp. That's why on every dyno you'll ever see hp and torque cross paths at 5250 rpm.

Yes the EB PCM are locked down thats why they have such a close eye on those motors..

My point was that Dynajet as I understand measures acceleration of its drums, calculates horsepower from those numbers with their formulas, and then determines torque by inverting the HP formula. I believe other Dynos measure torque and determine HP off of that.

Glad to see mine made the same #'s as yours.

I want to do a cat back (that exits in front of the passenger side rear tire) and a tuner and maybe an intake.

An inertia dynamometer provides a fixed inertial mass load and calculates the power required to accelerate that fixed, known mass and uses a computer to record RPM and acc. rate to calculate torque. The engine is generally tested from somewhat above idle to its maximum RPM and the output is measured and plotted on a graph.

I think this is how a dynajet works.

Pickuptrucks.com just posted their dyno results of a f150 ecoboost.

I see they completely ignored my comment that the torque chart looks impossible considering that even the 3.73 ecoboost cruises below 2000 RPM and hardly ever downshifts..
That torque chart shows zero torque below 2000 RPM - and under gentle driving, the thing never goes above 2000 RPM to start with. There has to be torque below that.
