ecoboost with 4.10lrd or 6.2
i have done every combo online building my new truck but today i built a fx4 eco with 4.10 lrd i was set on the 6.2 motor but now i dont know what to order i live in ecuador at 10,000 ft and here to get a 2011 truck you have to special order it so test driving both cant happen. if i was to get the6.2 i would have to get a locker both front and rear because i drive in the jungle and there is lots of mud .help me decide and if you youtube ecuador 4x4 and look at some of the vids you will see what i drive in on the weekends

Cool Videos
here is my .02 At that elevation turbos are good, I am overall a fan of Turbo engines as I have had a few. I am also a fan of big displacement v8's. "Currently I have a 350HP Volvo Wagon and a 6.2L 150.
Either way for off-roading a tune would be good for the better throttle response and also a tuner might do something specific for your elevation.
I am not sure what you have for service stations but the 6.2 would be easier for average mechanics to work on.
I haven't done much but for slow crawling you might prefer the 6.2L.
My vote would be a 6.2L with Turbos! That's my 3 year plan.

FX4 SCrew TT'd V6
I am thinking 6.2 Raptor would fit the bill quite nice. You won't beat the ride quality off road! Also, the Off Road mode would be beneficial for slow crawling, makes the throttle more linear to the pedal.
