Default EB Coolant leak.....again!!

2 months ago I walked out to my truck to find a driveway full of coolant. Coolant tank was almost empty and the leak appeared to be coming from the driver side turbo. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the turbo coolant drain line. The repair lasted about 2 months....... appears to be the same problem again . Waiting on a call back from the dealer with the newest diagnosis. 34k miles and this is what I have to look forward too for they years to come!

Odd that they both decided to fail so close to eachother.

Thank you for reaching out about this on the forum, erazor450. Please fill me in with the model year of your truck, as well as any details regarding the repair; I can assess additional options beyond the dealership, if necessary.

Default Same Issue

I really like my truck, but share your frustration. My 2013 ecoboost with 34K had the same problem. Repaired under warranty. BTW - My leak was never more than a few drops at one time.

Still don't have my truck back, they have had it for 6 days. Either they don't know what they are doing or they keep pushing mine to the back of the line. According to the service writer it's been being worked on since Thursday after noon, so I guess the water pump swap on the ecoboost Is a 20+ hour job

Update: service dept. just called and said the tech was buttoning it up and broke a coolant hose, they are waiting on parts again, he promised it will be done by 9am tomorrow. Comical at this point.

Had he exact problem when I bought my 2013 FX4. Lots of tests run because the truck was two days old. Turned out to be a faulty (leaky) reservoir bottle.
