E3 Plugs, worth the hype?
Snakeoil? I watch powerblock, now powernation or whatever they decide to call it next month, and they always throw the E3 plugs into whatever they are building. What they don't do however is use a stock coil configuration, they are all using MSD, or some other high output coil pack ignition system.
They do get good results from the dyno runs, but I am skeptical on whether these plugs are any good with stock coil packs.
Has anyone run them in their EB and were the results worth them?

They could be just using them because they're a sponsored or placed product.

After trying 3-4 different plugs I am sticking to the SP 534. No first hand with the e3 but not even worth it to me to try, stock has outperformed everything else

Just going to get a new set and boots from the Dealer, for $105 plus tax.

the way i look at it, the amount of advertising done to sell a product is proportional to how good the product is. Great products sell them selves while not so great stuff relies on good marketing. armourall is a great example of this, a crap product with heavy marketing.

oh man why did you mention that window clouding stuff?!
OH I just had a revelation! Remember Split Fires? Same principal, and where are they now?
I understand the principal of having multiple points for the spark to jump across to, but unless you have a high energy system to take advantage of them, they are no better or worse than stock, which I plan to stick with. The multiple points decrease the energy needed to jump, or arc over to, so a weak system can perform better at higher RPM with these, but its just a patch, and you would be better off with higher energy coils. With an MSD and E3 in a high compression engine, you can run a wide range of RPM and get good power, because you will get a hot spark with them, but they wont last long either.
I think I know why the plugs in the EB have gaps that need to be reduced, and its probably due to weak coils.
