"I noticed in that video they used mostly smaller engines and not any N/A bigger V8's. Not saying I dont agree with the video, but a bigger air pump might see a little bigger gain if you tested it."
That 2.5 turbo engine is smaller, but the turbo effectively makes it act like a larger displacement engine in that it does pump more air than a NA 2.5 litre.
While I see your point that a larger engine should show larger gains in terms of HP, I don't think that would translate into larger gains in terms of percentage.

I have been reading about CAI for my 6.2 and it seems the bottle neck isn't the filter, or how much the filter can pull, but the size of the pipe going into the engine. I still want to do something to hear more of the engine, but not sure what yet.
Putting a cai on most fuel injected engines seems to be like putting a bigger top on a funnel, you dump a little more fluid in, but the amount of fluid coming out of the funnel won't be any quicker.
Maybe I am wrong in that thought, if so please let me know.

On to the matter at hand, I don't have a CAI, just a green drop in filter that looks cool. No power, sound or mpg gains to report from this guy.

This isn't even testing CAI, it's just testing different filters.
Even so, between their first baseline and first "CAI" outside the car was a 10HP gain. Granted from the high baseline to the low (highest gain) intake was only 5hp, it's still a gain.
On the 5.0 mustang there's numerous independent dynos showing aftermarket intakes, from the throttle body and forward, marking more than 10HP gains.
I do agree that anyone wanting 20% more power won't find it in an intake unless the stock one has a squirrel stuck in it! Saying 69hp or w/e is crazy to expect from just an intake.
