Default Dtc p012d

Today my CEL randomly came on, and upon checking, it said DTC P012D. I looked up the code and it read "Turbocharger/Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor Circuit High."

From what I have seen, it seems to be a sensor that may have become unplugged for some reason. I reset the DTC, so I will see if it returns and will check the plug connections this evening.

Any additional information would be helpful. Thank you!

I wonder what could make it go up like that? Maybe it won't come back now that I've cleared it. Thanks for the info.

Check the connector and pin tension could just be loose if you have been playing in there.

Do you have a tune on the truck? Could it have been a boost spike over the MAP sensors range?

I wasn't in boost really at all. I was driving to work, and the fastest I go is 35-40 mph (speed limit).

Edit: This morning and yesterday, no lights. I checked the MAP sensor and everything looks good. Maybe just was a fluke thing.

Our 2013 through a P012D code yesterday. Wife was driving the truck down the highway. Truck has been tuned stock for the last 6mo or so. Should I take it in or reset with the SCT?

I had a 5 star tune that would throw that code last year. Swapped tunes and it never came back.

Been running stock for quite a while. Guess I will clear the code and see if it comes up again.

Reset the DTC this morning. Wife went for a drive and it came back on. Looks like she's going in for warranty.
