Default Drop in dry replacement filters

I know K&N has one for the 3.5 Eco, but I don't want to use oil, are there any drop in replacement air filters that are dry? Really not interested in a complete kit replacement, just a drop in one. I have searched the forum and internet, but can't find anything.

Thanks!!!

I have the Airaid drop in filter listed above. 6000 miles on it, performing well so far. I am like you, I did not want to spend alot on a intake kit until I see how they all stack up.

Can anyone post the difference in an oiled air filter as opposed to a non oiled one. I know nothing about it. Differences, advantages, pros and cons would all be helpful. Thanks.

As ageneral rule the cotten gause oild filter has a slighty higher flow rate but they dont filter as well elso the oil can mess up your MAF senser. I would stay with a dry paper or cellulose filter. Bubbabud

How does it differ from a K&N or a aFe dry filter? What are the technical differences? What are the benefits that an AIRAID can bring that other aftermarket dry filters that are washable, reusable with a lifetime warranty? Is it interchangeable with other manufacturer's CAI systems? 35% more surface area in comparison to what, stock?

Not busting on AIRAID I just would like to hear more relevant facts that make it the "Best".

I have the AEM Bruteforce CAI on my 02 expy and it has been great. I just take it out and wash it in the solution and let it dry and put it back in. Its been on for 4 plus years now and not a single problem with it.
