These mileage stats from some are good figures for a truck, of course the 2wd drive trucks and low gears, low weight, low everything and watching how you drive around town if that floats your boat then thats cool. It is awesome to see guys that are getting 20 to 30 mpg on highway. I havent had any highway miles on my truck worth calculating yet. But the pickuptrucks.com article is a little far fetched, 36 gal in a 26 gal tank. Really?..I have a good mileage theory, i fill up tank and then when the needle gets to E I fill up again. Works every time. Its great that the F150 can produce good mileage for different people, but its a truck, if i wanted to worry about fuel mileage i would have bought a prius and put a tow hitch on it. But that great info for the guys tracking there mileage. All I know if my F150 gets better gas mileage than my Super Duty.
