I guarantee you were either drugged or you were imagining the passenger handle, or your cousin's truck is an 08 Limited and he is trollin, haha. no stock 09+ F-150 has a handle on that side. It sucks....I love the SD for that reason.
First of all the being drugged joke is not appreciated. Just lost a very good friend due to being drugged. Second, it was a Super Duty that I seen it in so I was wrong. Sorry to waste everyone's time.

Sorry bout that....meant it as a harmless joke, didn't mean to offend anybody.

HardcoreFXFour - Here's why a driver's side pillar handle will never work. Go out to your truck and give your driver's side A-pillar a tug. Comes out easier than easy. Now try putting a handle up there and put your whole weight on it. You'll pull the pillar clean off in the first pull.
No dis', however ... It -IS- doable. It would mean that a bracket would need to be fabricated, attached to the A-pillar, and the trim piece (with handle) bolted/screwed to the bracket.

*The same manner as the RH.

There is an air bag behind that pillar, that's why it pops off so easily.

Putting a handle and bracket in front of an air bag will either cause the air bag not to work correctly, and really screw up your windows and the pillar, or throw a metal bracket and a handle at your face at 200 mph if you get in a wreck.

Wouldn't do it. Plus the steering wheel and the door handles work just fine.

The Super Duty has the same air bag configuration (6) with the A-pillar grab handle (and a bracket). It's not an issue. So ... It is doable.

EDIT: Excerpted from the Super Duty sales brochure ...

As stated previously ...
gDMJoe ... The LH A-pillar grab hanble has been left-off since 2009 for -ALL- models of the F-150 (INCLUDING the Raptor).
The part DOES NOT exist. Ergo ... TASCA (or any other FoMoCo dealership) would not be able to provide it.
