Drilled condensation hole without pre-existing issues

I'm going to when I get around to it. I haven't had any issues in the 14 months that I've had my truck. But I'm going to do it as a precaution because if it ever does get a big gulp of water at WOT it could hydrolock the engine.

Whos to say you dont want issues down the road? There are no adverse effects, Id drill.

I dont think anyone ever mentioned hydrolocking or had it happen, just a "fall on its face, sh*t your pants moment" when it happens, at least the first time.
my 11 did that, I believe it was fixed after I left it at my old job. My 13 has been good, I dont see the need to drill the IC "just in case".

The hole, or an ic like the afe that deals with the condensation, is absolutely important to do on these trucks especially if running a tune. It's a no brainer. List out the positives and negatives(hint, there is no negatives)

I don't have an ecoboost, but is the intercooler not after the turbocharger in these? I know these are not MAF based motors, but would a hole in the IC not cause a loss of compressed air and affect performance, just like any boost leak?
