Yeah ive thought about a tune. I had (still have the unit id sell it) the sct tuner on my 2004 5.4. I was gonna get the 5 star for my raptor after warranty was up. Now for this 5.0 i have extended warranty. Makes me nervous to tune it. And im a little out of touch with whats best. Need to look that up.

MPT changed my truck completely. I've tried 5star livernois SSI and MPT. MPT is the most aggressive. dropped my 0-60 almost 2 sec then add boltons and your 5.0 is no dog. lol trust me. Ecoboost are bada** but it definitely deserves respect.

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/201...ogrammers.html sells an SCTx4 with custom tunes from 5* and a powertrain warranty. I went that route mainly for the added peace of mind that they will cover any damage that Ford wont if something comes unglued.

My 5.0 wants to jump out of the body using their tunes, I even thru on a couple MPT tunes just because.

Definitely need to tune it. I pull around my 79 bronco with ease. I went with 5 star and purchased the warranty through stage 3 and am very happy with the way the truck performs and drives now. The couple times i put it back to stock I was pretty disappointed in the truck.
