Default Does exhaust alone screw up stock tune.

I I removed my stock exhaust at the y pipe and went with a 3 inch pipe into a 3 inch dyno max race bullet and out the stock 3 inch tail pipe. Could this screw anything up. Can't help but feel like it runs more rough since. Been on about 6 months. I didn't free up incoming air but the factory air box I'm sure flows gloat more that the CAI guys want you to think. Thoughts?

It's in your head. If it's running badly then it's something else.

It's not really running badly. I think your right it's in my head. It sounds great. Just seems like every time you turn around someone is saying well if you open up here and not here and don't tune it it doesn't run right. Guess I hit sucked into the hype machine! Carburetors were easier.

I haven't seen anyone saying that. They are always saying CAI and catback untuned will be fine.

So a CAI doesn't lean out your mixture?

Not unless your stock air box is restricted and they are not.

No, our trucks have widebands that will correct for the extra air.
