Default does the ecoboost use a timing belt or timing chain?

I'm sick of doing expensive belts every 6 years. What is the maintenance like on the Ecoboost?

Sorry I could not find this info elsewhere. Thank you for any assistance.

DOHC pretty much always equals chains and the EB is no different. The belts generally aren't precise and accurate enough and are prone to stretching over time which could cause some issues on tight tolerance motors. Ford trucks have had timing chains for quite some time.
