I was explaining this kit to a buddy of mine and the discussion eventually turned into headers vs. a manifold. I know how much time you guys spent on this kit so I'm sure there is a reason behind you going with a manifold vs headers. If you get a chance can you explain why you chose a manifold over headers and also if this part will be available by itself? Would it even be smart to just add the manifold if someone like myself is piecing together this kit or should i just hold off until i get get everything at once? Thanks for your time Geoff and i can't wait for the new parts to get here this week

hey eco beast! our EFR turbo kits uses tubular merge collector turbo manifolds AKA "headers" on each turbo. A header is an exhaust manifold which uses a merge collector and seperate tubes for each cylinder. These fit EFR turbos only, will not fit stock turbos.

I think what your friend was referring to is a "log manifold" with no collector and no distinct tubes for each cylinder. This is OEM for the stock turbos, and can not be replaced.

Yes, our aluminum radiators will be sold as a standalone upgrade mid to late summer. This is one of my big projects here, I guarantee you this product is worth the wait. Right now we are hand making each radiator one by one, for our turbo kits... once our core supplier gets up to speed and we can make these radiators in batches, and help many guys who see high-ish water temps

Geoff/Geno, are these available to the public for the stock turbo set-up and have you guys done or plan to do any dyno's with these tunes?

I've been wondering this for awhile, Geoff isn't the engine in our Ecoboost the same as the SHO and Explorer Sport? I realize things would have to be setup a little differently, but would it be worthwhile to market this to them as well? Some of the SHO forum guys have some serious money into their cars, and the closest turbo upgrade they have doesn't even touch this!
