the 2011-2012 is usually all-in at 18.5-19.5psi, with the 48mm compressors.

2013+ 3.5L get bigger 51mm compressor wheels... but a restrictive charge air cooler which negates any performance benefit. Most 2013 trucks with a good 3" catback/filter, when upgrading intercooler/cold side/TB will gain boost on the same tune due to reduced pumping losses from a more efficient charge cooling system

This thread seems to have lost some steam. Got a few questions one specifically for Geoff and a more general discussion question aswell.

1) once the intake is released might we see some Canned tunes for intake, cac, y pipe, and exhaust? If the turbos are further of than we expected I'd sure be interested in one.

2) benefits of water/meth injection and these catch cans on DI engines, as it pertains to keeping things clean. Would both systems work well together? What's the cost difference of one vs. the other? What's everyone's opinions?

Quick question about the FR cat-back... Is there any owner of the Full Race cat-back exhaust WITH AND WITHOUT the resonator??? I keep listening at the videos and notice a slight change of the tone between the one without resonator and the one with but still, there's not a big difference in my opinion. Without resonator, is it really louder than with one. Just don't know if I should buy the resonator or not???!! I just don't want to regret it if I don't buy the resonator. Which set up is best in your opinion? Thanks for all your answers! Cheers!!!!!!

I wish i could say I've OWNED both but I've only simply heard both and here is my opinion as a non-res owner. The non-res version is just a little deeper then the res version. Both are very quite under normal throttle and crusing speed but the non-res just lets you know its there more when you punch the gas. The non-res does not get raspy though and I've even modified mine with a turndown concept for off-roading and it still never rasps out. Not sure if you would be interested but very shortly ill be testing out a new set up with the FR system and my non-res pipe might become available. So if you get the resonated version and its not enough for you, i would be more then willing to do a straight up swap for a res version which is what ill likely need with the new configuration me and Geoff are working on.

I have it both ways I can say the tone does not change. It's just quieter with the resonator. I prefer it with out to be honest. Its not to loud at all. With it on it is almost stock noise level but just deeper tone. I recommend the resonator if your going to tow a lot otherwise with out will be fine. I towed a car back 800 miles from Colorado with out the resonator and did not e en notice but I put it on recently and it really does take it down a notch. Truly the sound of the FR exhaust is perfect not to loud with out it at all. But if your overly sensitive. Get both pipes and have the best of both worlds like me !

A lot of testing is going on for the people asking about the intake and other items.

Good to know....I would still like to know some proposed numbers to keep my appetite wet. I also know that Matt Morkin is working on his design....which I HOPED would have worked out to test for him, buuuuuut it didn't.

I was reallllllly looking forward to doing some testing, too. I guess now it will be coming down to who releases which one first with some descent numbers and/or spool decrease.

I also really want to hear more intake noise when the turbos are spooling.

Do you have any photos and details of this. I Have often thought I would like to just dump my exhaust under the truck and not have the exhaust tip behind the wheel to clean up the lines. Is that what you are talking about? I would love to see what you did and how you did it. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Never mind. I found your build thread and saw your pictures and details. That is EXACTLY what I would want to do. Glad to see I am not alone. I looked at photos of the full race system that there is no hanger on the back of the muffler, like on the stock system. The hanger actually looks to be on the over the axle pipe. It does not look as though you added a hanger to your system when you put the turndown on it. I was wondering if the exhaust hangs a bit because of this or if it is still solid. Looks great on your truck.

I am glad someone else likes the idea because now that it's on and I've been off-road with it I love it. I love the sound, and most of all the way it performs when I'm off road. I'll be setting up my GoPro back their shorty for some videos this way people can hear it for themselves and decide on the sound. I'm curious though as to how much it really moves, but if it turns on to be a lot I'll just have another hanger added on the end. It is sturdy on the truck when I went down there and really tried to rip it off and move it around. It's perfect for folks who would like to stop pinging rocks off the axle-back portion of the exhaust and have one less thing to worry about breaking or bending off-road.
