Ya that's pretty crazy.
I too would only get one word answers from other tuner, I deal with Chris at 5 star and we have full conversations, over email also.
I'm surprised of their response
to that data log. I'm by no means a expert with tuning but even I can tell something isn't right.

"Max" is the highest value the program can read in that category. Not the highest value it seen.

And btw guys his max boost was 240kpa. You have to look at the manifold absolute.

There may have been a momentary glitch that caused all of those max readings. I would imagine the tuner would look at certain times during the pull to ensure everything looks good, not the min and max values.

It also looks like the datalog may have been started before the engine was turned on. Is this correct?

Does on mine. Btw it's measuring in kpa not psi. Gotta divide that by like 6.9 to get psi

Yes but the wrong value was being read, plus I'm Canadian, I'm used to having to convert to the imperial system.

Do you start your data log before the engine is running? That is the only reason why I could think it would show the full range, I have over 20 data logs and they only show the max value recorded during that run. But I always start recording right before my pull. Just trying to figure out why the difference.

Nvmd, I tried one with the engine shut off, as you can see my max values are not the absolute max, just the max seen. This was just of a startup.

I did start the log with the engine off which it shouldnt matter. I wanted to get a cold start log to see if everything was ok. Im going to try again today with a different laptop and see what happens.

There is nothing wrong with starting it from the engine off, just trying to see if I could recreate the min/max you were getting. I may try again later if I get time.

Your values are also 0 so nothing was multiplied to fit on the same scale.

If he sent this to his tuner reading a knock high of 600+ and nearly 8k rpms and they said it looks good no knock. He should be more worried about finding a different tuner lol
