I guess I could put my old (very old) G-Tech on the truck and see what it runs in 1/4 mile. If I can break into the 13's then that pretty much solidifies that these numbers are skewed low.
After you get that figured out and if its not what you think, give SSi a try on a tune. They have the 2015 ecos running 12.5 in the 1/4 and I know you will not be disappointed. There are video runs posted too. I have a 5.0 tuned by them and it is a beast and it is a 93 ssi2 and I can only imagine a 93 Ssi4 which is the most safest max power that requires a Datalog as I log all mine anyway just to check for safety sake and all is good. In the future I may go all the way with a SSi4. Shifts are super smooth and that is sweet and powerful.

I caught up with LET and learned that my numbers are in line with their past experience on a Mustang dyno. And the big torque in Run 1 is an anomaly with the dyno and it happens now and then. So that means my numbers are more characterized by Run 2, which is 340 RWHP and 442 TQ. No more excuses, data appears legit.

Ya, I am aware of SSi. It's not as though LET can't do the same thing, they just have a more conservative philosophy and that's why I partnered with them. The drive quality of my tune is top notch. Engine runs silky smooth, trans shifts quick without drama, and throttle feel is nicely progressive. I'm not sure SSi will improve on that but they will push the engine further.

I am staying on 91 octane. Do you know of examples of SSi tunes on 91 octane?
No doubt I have given some thought to experimenting with SSi this coming spring just for fun. It seems awfully expensive by the time you get data logged tunes done. I paid $100 for my LET tune and get free updates for life, even if I do other add-ons to the truck.

Im glad your happy with your tune and it seems to be what you thought it was to your liking. SSi basically has 4 tune level selections with different throttle inputs and 2 transmission type strategies. They can taylor it to your liking also, and the upper level tunes definitely require a data log and they require it. SSi will run specials every once in a while and likes for new folks to come over and give it a try. last special was for 1 day 2 tunes for $125, great deal. Yes there are folks over there running everything from 87 to 93 and yes there are quite a bit that run 91 as thats all some have available in their area. They have a forum that you can check out and join if you like. Great people that will help you and interact on different topics and Mechanical issues, current events, etc. They tune the Taurus Sho, explorers, eco boost anything, Mustangs, Dodge, etc.,, and the list goes on and on. A really fun and enlightening place to share and learn. Just pop in and take a look sometimes, you are most welcomed just like this forum it is very informative.
