We have two Eco F150 units in our company and I could not be more happy. More HP and better milage than our older 5.0 vehicles. Ford has a winner in my opinion!

Maybe he means twin scroll turbos?

For me, twin turbo means a sequential setup. Our trucks are dual turbos or even bi-turbo. One turbo for each bank of cylinders. Read up on the Porsche 959 turbo setup, pretty cool.

Of course these terms can and do change. In WWII they called them Turbo-Superchargers as installed in P-38s.

Yes, and technically it is a very correct term. Superchargers came first. Then someone came up with the ingenious idea to drive the supercharger's compressor with a turbine. So, it was a turbine-driven supercharger, or turbo-supercharger. Pretty cool history IMO. [/off topic]

it's auto manufacture jargon. twin = 2 = bi
sequential = small + big
some manus just decided to call it like they want.

2wd 3.15 gears towing 9000lbs = avg 13 mpg

life of truck up to 10k miles = 15.5 mpg

straight exhaust = mini cummins sound lol

remote start = works half the time

hitting 100 mph with out trying = PRICELESS

My thoughts are that the new 6R80 transmission has extremely short gears in it, so the rear gear isn't nearly as important as it was on the old 4 speeds.

that will depend greatly on what your needs are.

I don't put many km's on the truck, but when we do it's longer 2+ hour drives to visit family, travel, etc. I also expect to tow my offroad toy, or a pop up trailer now and then, so I went with the 3.73 gears.

This weekend we were cruising @ 120kph (75mph) and were bang on 2000rpm. Ideally I would have liked to have been lower, 1500-1750RPM... but it's a trade off. I wanted max tow, knowing the RPM's would be a bit higher while cruising at speed. Course towing I will drive slower, so it will near even out in the end.
