Cooler intake air is still better for power, even in a turbocharged intercooled application.

Or an aftermarket intercooler instead. It will cool the compressed air.

I have had the Airaid and it for a fact doesn't seal well on my truck and it's noisy. I recently got the new S&B and don't see how it could leak hot air in, so at least now I'm getting air just like the factory unit, possibly a little more free flowing. So far am pleased with the results, just don't expect anything in the way of hp gains.

Most just like the 4 barrel sound they have. It feels faster mostly.

Flip the breather on a 350 Chev just like adding a 100 hp lol.

I personally have a full custom intake with larger, well, everything. The stock MAF will max out about 600hp so you should be good with the stock size.
So are you saying that this would not be your first choice for upgrades? I only have 6000 miles on the truck right now. I want to dig into this one, but know that I'm going to have to wait longer into my warranty. My thought was things that I can remove easily if needed before taking to the dealer. My other thought was the tuner, but know they can see me doing that. Also I would like to hear the turbo's a little more, and I'm still a V8 guy so the exhaust sounds just havn't won me over. So my thoughts were going to be installing the new air filter/CAI, tuner, and downpipe. In that order, but like I said, I'm trying to keep things simple since this is as new as it is.

Another waste of money because they don't outflow the OEM filter.

Just a little fyi the OEM filter flows around 320 cfm while a high flow drop in flows around 440+
