Ecoboost Oil Analysis from Blackstone Labs
This is the fifth one I have had done. They seem alarmed by the oil pretty heavily. I haven't noticed the fuel smell, but will put a note on my next oil filter to check for fuel smell before draining.
After speaking on the phone with Blackstone, the guy suggested I take it in to Ford and ask them to check the entire fuel system to see if there are any issues. He seemed pretty adamant about it. I asked whether it being pretty much run through all of the winter and with needing more fuel for start ups, cold engine, etc. if that would be something to note and he said probably not. He said even if I shut the engine down, set up my ramps, started it back up to drive back on - it should still be below 1%.
What do you guys think?

This seems common on any ECO, actually GDI engines in general have high fuel.

I was ironically just checking for a lot of these. What oil are you running, as I am thinking of switching to Pennzoil Platinum?

I have had 2 samples tested at blackstone from my 2011 EB. and thy both showed fuel dilution but the report said it was not critical. One test was done with a 5000 mile drain and the 2nd test with a 8000 mile drain the test also indicated no abnormal wear and not to be concerned
I live in a rural area in the southwest and the truck seldom see's a trip of less than than 25 miles and there is no such thing as winter so this might be the reason that the fuel no. is lower.

This is why I do shorter oil change intervals than what Ford recommends. Usually a little over 3k miles with Motorcraft syn/blend.
The oil in my Grand National has always smelled gassy too. If you go on the GN forums you'll see that pretty much everybody does short OCI's.

Thanks, Mobil 1 should be in the same tier as PP, so I guess no gains there. Maganesse and iron both are up...my understanding is that these two numbers with the fuel dilution normally point toward rings.
We've got some good people on here that might give better insight.
