After 1006 miles mine is right on full mark on the back side front looks high . It is a 2013 a month old manufactured Oct of 2013 and has had no TSB'S. Performed or anything else hasn't stumbled at all but the exhaust does have black soot on it like an engine that is running too rich . Guessing it's just from DI. With cold starts . So far so good for me but I must admit . My daily commutes are four 6.5 mile runs per day at easy throttle. Reading these threads are alarming
no one should be having problems with new vehicles ...

the picture I took this morning was taken after doing exactly the steps you mentioned. wanted to make sure I checked it cold. mine actually was the same across the dipstick. one side was not higher than the other.

hopefully the dealer will come up with something.

aye, for that slight amount of increase I bet the can would work well. after 500 miles I drained mine again and pulled about 5.5oz of crap out of mine the other day. I no longer have the large increase of oil volume since my TSB was performed, and the can is catching everything else. Highly recommended. Also note about the video, I have to tap the can kinda hard to get it going. That white gunk in the beginning seems to prevent it from coming out, but giving it a knock jostles it enough to let it pass.

Yes, the mixture can turn it into a "soap like" substance from the oil and sulfuric acid it is removing and catching.

well i got the truck back. they changed the oil and said they reprogrammed the computer. so that pretty much tells me that they didn't fix anything. when i asked about the dipstick showing extra oil they looked at me funny.

i will drive it for a week and check the oil and see where it is at. i have a good idea what it is going to show.

oh... guess what happened when i accelerated onto the interstate on the way home. got into the pedal a little and it did nothing for about 6-7 seconds, stuttered a couple times, and finally started to go.

From all your issues it sounds to me like you got a lemon. I'd just bite the bullet and unload it. Probably for a 6.2 Chevy.

yeah I am really not happy to say the least. lemon law is pretty much a waste of time as i could probably save what it would cost to do it and use towards a trade. i am going to have a hard time getting something different but i guess that might be my only option at this point.
I am disappointed in Ford... i have owned 14 vehicles in my life and all but one have been a ford. our family business bought a new ford every year for over 30 years... and my dad has had so many problems with his 2010 king ranch he wants to trade his to.

I am going to talk to the manager and see what they will do. As bad as Ford's service is if they give me a deal i will entertain it.
