Checked couple gaps, coil pack reinstall question.
Ok, complete noob question, but I am going to ask anyway.
I was checking the gaps on my plugs tonight, on my Ecoboost (2012).
Good news was the 2 I checked were at .34 ( i did go ahead and regap to .32)
However, it seems when i was reinstalling the 2 coil packs (coil over plugs) I removed they didn't seem to "seat"/"click" back on the the plug, they way they came off. But the coilpack itself seemed to set just fine(right depth, lined up, etc.).
Unbolted now the coilpack now seems to come off with less resistance (no "click"/seperation from the plug it seems), compared to when i took it off originally i could feel it coming off the plug.
I tried maneuvering and twisting it a bit seeing if it would "click" but never did, and it seated back in just fine and I bolted it back in place.
I am probably doing a crappy job of explaining it, but I just need to know is there a jedi mind trick to putting this back on?
Is it ok?
Or should i feel it pop back on the plug.(Like a normal old school plug wire.)
It was getting late so i called it a night, but now its bugging me thinking about it, so thought Id ask here, before I go back out in the morning.
Thanks in advance,

I don't think you need to worry. Most likely there is air trapped in the "boot" of the coil pack due to the tight seal and you are compressing the air when you push the coil pack down. The trapped air is compressed and pushes the coil back up. Replace the hold down screw, plug it in and see if it runs.

This. It took almost a 12 pack of energy to pull mine off the first time A lot of grunting with #6. They slide on/off much easier now and I can change all 6 plugs in about 20 minutes.
