I did the first tip to fill the gas tank in case it gulped a gallon of bad gas going up the hill. The light is still on. My mpgs may have dropped a little too.

From what I understand from the troubleshooting tips, you may need 3 starts with some cruising to clear the failure code if it was just a fuel hiccup. I will take it out for the third cruise today and see if it clears. If not, the dealer is going to hear from me first thing in the morning.
your charged air cooler is collecting water and running it through the engine.Ford has no fix and says its bad gas!

All F 150 EcoBoost owners. If your truck shutters on hard acceleration and no codes or has a code it is probably the charged air cooler collecting water running it through the engine.Ford knows about the problem and has no fix. There is a lawsuit now.

Actually there are 2 aftermarket fixes. Please search drilling a hole in the CAC and catch can. Lots of people think it is stupid, and it really is, but it works.

Also the Eco is hard on plugs. First thing you should do for any misfire or shudder is replace the plugs and gap them to .028 to .030

Why not bring up a few recent threads instead of posting things everybody knows in 2 year old threads. I smell a lawyer drumming up business

**** happens, new stuff breaks. Glad it was something simple.

Next time when you get a cel, get it scanned as quickly as possible so you know what your problem is.

This sets the record for me for the fastest I have ever had to take a brand new vehicle in. I switched to Ford from Chevy because I thought Ford was more reliable and I thought going once a year for a malfunction was too much.

The next update will be what the dealer has told me.
I saw on a Cheby forum a guy threw codes on his new Silverado while trying to leave the dealer lot. They installed new injectors and he threw codes just down the road. Eventually, they just gave him another truck after weeks of that kind of stuff.
All the stories of Ecoboost problems have had me nervous, but other than spark plugs (and I had to tell them to replace them), I've really had no issues. Sucks that I have to do my own diagnostics though. My one day of the condensation problem turned out to be bad spark plugs. At 65K, I am on my third set of plugs, but it is a cheap price to pay for a truck that runs this good.

Edit: Just saw how old this thread is! For Ecoboosts with "condensation" problem, try new spark plugs gapped .028-.030 and be sure not to torque to over 11 ft/lbs. Dealer ruined a set by over torquing to "prevent spark plug blowout". I told him SPARK blowout was the issue and the fix was to tighten the gap, not the plug! And replace the plugs at 30K, not 100K miles.
