$1500 for 4v cams...damn, that's cheap
seriously, you don't want to know how much I paid for my custom cams for my Mach 1 then and I got them at cost too since I own a race shop...LOL...but then again, I run 10's, borderline 9"s too.
I usually get cams for my customers for about $2000 but that includes cams, springs, and retainers too(parts only)...$2500 if we add guides and tensioners while we are in the motor(parts only).
If you have the money for cams and you do your research and buy the right profile to match your set up, cams can and are very much worth the money. 4v motors are not cheap to modify at all....but the benefits of modifying a 4v motor greatly outweigh their 2v and 3v modular motor relatives.

Also, who is doing your gears? I couldnt find anyone who has them for the '11 differential because Ford changed the gears cause the ecoboost was breaking the shaft.
Heads and came from a Boss would be awesome, as the heads are cnc ported and the cams have an extra mm of lift over the GT cams. One of the reasons the Boss mustangs with big centrifugal blowers are posting over 900rwhp on stock motors are those bad a** heads.

Boss, I would be interested to see the difference at the track from the cam swap before the 'verter, just to see the low speed torque difference. Then see what happens after with the full deal. With your mph, the 'verter is going to really help your et, bet you will see mid 12's with the full package.

I'm really intriguied by the comment about trucks with stock intake and manifolds being faster than the Boss intake and headers.

I was planning to do Caltracs, Roush Exhaust, and then the 5 star kit that comes with Boss intake, CAI and tuner. This has got me considering not doing the Boss manifold.

All it does it take from the low end and give to the high end of the RPM range. So, in theory, its a wash.

I would definetly recommend buying the combo because you can always add a converter or gears to make up for the loss down low.

I have the 5star combo and love it. You can definelty tell a difference.

Here you go: Heads- http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...-ASSEMBLY.html

Cams- http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...T-CAM-SET.html

Maybe one day the wife will allow it.

With the Boss cams how would the lope be? Just like the BOSS mustang or is there more to it than just the cam and heads that give the agressive lope?

With VVT a tuner can make stock cams sound pretty aggressive.
