Default Cai on an ecoboost
Hey all I just put in my new afe cai dual cone looks awesome but there's a vacuum like noise at about 1500-2000 rpm it's also a thunk noise when I lift my foot off the gas quick please help and one

Blow off valve and turbos sucking air. It's normal.

The thunk is the blow off valve?

More than likely. Check your connections and make sure nothing is loose and rocking around.

My Injen also does it. I'm not really impressed with the Injen for the money.

I think age has alot to do with the noise. Meaning im 40 and i kinda like the sound of my afe stage 2 but my son 19 is like damn dad that sounds crazy .but yea its normal. They make a cover for the stage 2.

Haha yea most likely cuz I absolutely love mine but I guess my age explains why I'm only 20 years old...
