The turbos heat the air up hotter than any true cold air intake would help. You want to suck as much air with the least restriction as possible and let the cac do it's job.

Intercooler, I believe it's "charge air cooler".

I agree with this statement BUT... At the same time if you're putting hot air through the CAC it will come out cooler, if you put cooler air through the CAC won't it come out even cooler?? and that's the whole point right ?? ... Colder the air the better ??
