It should be considered routine maintenance. That is why I traded for 12 platinum screw eb, except my eb is lousy in the mpg dept.

Good move.. loved my platinum.

1142.57 gallons of gas for the price of injectors. Sooo if your getting 14 mpg then that will get you 15,996 miles down the road....

Dang. I put 263k on my 02 and 289k on my 06 and never dealt with any of that. Did you have tuners or other mods?

I hope you 12 won't mess up with you like mine has. If you run into the limp mode issue go directly to the dealer and tell them you want the latest tsb that gives you the new cac

Already have. They ordered new intercooler. Also chked plug gap and was at .030 chged to.034 to see if helps. MPG stinks, 3800 avg is 11.6. Love the platinum and the eb but would like to get better mpg

Good deal. It's so strange how big of a variance there is in mpg on these. I wonder if the 13 design will make them more consistent? When mine hasn't had issues it gets pretty good mileage depending on how hard it's pushed. Around town I get between 16.5 and 17.5 in a lot of stop and go. On the road I can get 19.5-21.5. 19.5 at 72-75 cruise, and the 20.5 to 21.5 cruising at 65-70
